Bland Observability

This guide walks you through connecting your Bland phone number’s inbound calls to Bluejay’s observability software. Bland agents connect through their phone number: Bluejay matches each webhook event to the agent whose number it belongs to.

• Bland Webhook Secret
• A Bluejay Account

Setting Up the Integration

1. Configure Organization Settings

1. Log into your Bluejay Dashboard
2. Click Settings in the bottom left corner
3. Open the Integrations tab and select Bland

2. Adding Your Bland Key

1. Generate your Bland webhook signing secret in Bland, under the “General” tab of your organization’s settings
2. Paste it into the Webhook Secret field
3. Click Save Changes

3. Configuring Your Agent in Bland

1. Copy the Webhook URL given in the Webhook configuration dropdown
2. Navigate to your Bland Phone Numbers configuration screen and scroll down to the Advanced dropdown
3. Paste the Webhook URL into the Webhook URL field
4. Click Save Inbound Call Changes

4. Configuring Your Agent in Bluejay

1. Open your agent’s settings and go to the Connection Settings tab
2. Choose the Phone tile under Voice connection type
3. Paste your Bland phone number into the Phone Number field, in full international format (e.g. +15551234567)
4. Click Save Changes
